Very occasionally Podiatry Practice Pro (PPpro) will malfunction due to problems that can be caused by 'blips' in your computer which stop PPpro running properly or display an error message. The following will solve most of them. If you do all of these steps and still have a problem we may need to repair your Pppro installation. If that happens contact us for what to do next. |
| 1. Check that all PPpro files are installed and in correct location | Top |
Check that all the following files are in the Pppro folder
Particularly make sure these three files are in the Pppro folder and haven't had their filenames or extensions accidentally changed:

Interruptions in network connections may cause PPpro to malfunction if the program was running when the interruption ocurred. Make sure that your networked computers are all connected properly. WiFi networks can be interrupted by metal objects which can deflect or obscure the signal. Network interruptions can cause PPpro's Access Lock Files to 'stick'. If that happens: First make sure PPpro is closed, then compact and repair 'Tables' and TablesDemo' Second: Look for and delete any Access Lock Files as above |

Compress and attach the following files to an email and send them to us
In the email please help us to help you by outlining any error messages that appear and try to explain exactly what sequence of events you were carrying out before the error happened i.e. what screen you were in and what button or field you were using. After you click 'Compressed (zipped) folder) a new, compressed file should appear like this:
Compressed files are sometimes known as 'zipped' files. Any files that we ask you to send to us should be compressed. When the computer compresses a file your original file is not affected. |
